MacShack Enterprises announces MyTimeManager 3.5 to take advantage of System 7.
Cambridge, Mass., May 13, 1991 -- MyTimeManager version 3.5 takes advantage of Interapplication Communication capabilities in System 7 from Apple® Computer Inc.. MyTimeManager now offers cooperative, groupwide scheduling by automatically sending messages between various users on the network. Version 3.5 fully addresses the scheduling and organizing needs of both the busy individual and the corporate workgroup.
MacShack Enterprises will begin shipping MyTimeManager version 3.5 for the Macintosh® on the same day Apple ships System 7.
In addition to System 7 features, the latest version of MyTimeManager introduces a built-in "memo processor" and a number of additional improvements over previous versions.
With the latest enhancements MyTimeManager becomes an ever more valuable productivity tool. Continual improvement has been the hallmark of MyTimeManager since it was first introduced in 1987. MyTimeManager continues to deliver the most comprehensive collection of time management tools available while remaining easy-to-use.
With MyTimeManager's groupwide capabilities, each user running System 7 can:
• Check whether a particular event conflicts with the schedules of others.
• Gather and display the schedules of others in a group.
• Find the first available time for a group meeting simply by specifying how much "group time" is needed. (MyTimeManager analyzes group calendars to "solve" for the best time.)
• Announce to a workgroup that a meeting has been scheduled.
• Post and review In/Out messages.
• Exchange real-time messages with other users of MyTimeManager.
Registered owners may upgrade to the latest version for $10 plus a shipping and handling charge of $3 within the US and $10 outside the US. The retail price of MyTimeManager 3.5 will remain $79.95.
